| In the Modern Art Gallery there are many exhibited works by artists from
Veneto which were made in 19th century and 20th century. |

| We may admire several artistic works especially,
among these the most beautiful are those by Arturo Martini (there are many sculptures
and paintings of his, among these: the Venere dei porti), by Guglielmo Ciardi,
by Giovanni Apollonio (the Gruppo dei soldati di cavalleria is very
interesting), by Gino Rossi, by Nino Springolo, by Juti
Ravenna and by Sante Cancian. |

The Raccolta Salce (Salce’s Collection) is open
to the public always indoors the Museum , it is constituted by several thousands of advertising posters
to go over the last century again till the sixties, when Nando Salce, the maker of this impressive
collection, died.

| The Museum is close today for
a series of restorations to consolidate the foundations in some places. A part of the works present in the
Modern Art Gallery and in the Pinacoteca (Picture Gallery) are on exhibition in the Museo di Santa Caterina (Museum of St. Catherine). |
