PALAZZO GIACOMELLI, Piazza Garibaldi, 13 - Treviso

The interiors of the Palazzo Giacomelli are well-preserved, the floors are original even if the terrazzo pavings, being on the first floor, were repaired in some places.
The floors of the middle hall are made by flagstones on the ground floor, while the floors of the gallery are made by wooden tarsias.

The wodden doors are original; some door handles and hinges, damaged by time and not more working, were replaced.
Sante Giacomelli, the owner of Palazzo Giacomelli, made a picture gallery by over fifty nineteenth-century paintings.

the makers of these canvases are some contemporary artists as Lipariti, Bosa, Vincenzo Giacomelli, Moretti Larese, Giuseppe Boldini, Abati Vincenzo, Odorico Politi and many other.

Most of these works were moved to Museo Civico Luigi Bailo (Municipal Museum) and they were replaced by others which were in the storehouses of the Museum.

We find four halls called "Sala degli Stucchi", Sala dei Quarzi", "Sala dei Fiori" and "Sala Giacomelli", besides Sala delle Feste, on the first floor.
While other four halls and a gallery, being on the second floor, follow the layout of those located on the lower floor.

Palazzo Giacomelli was restored lately and it is the seat of Unindustria Treviso - Unione degli Industriali della Provincia di Treviso today.
There are a multipurpose hall, an information archives and a press room on the ground floor.
