OMBRALONGA IN TREVISO 2007
Wine festival in Veneto - Italy, 2007 Edition
 
Ombralonga in Treviso is a wine festival which is repeated from some years; it is a tour among the taverns and wine bars in Treviso where you will drink the best quality wines of Veneto. These wines will be all bottled and only quality wines; you will be able to taste them in the most important squares of old centre in Treviso with several traditional dishes coming from cooking from Veneto.
 
The participants in the Ombralonga will be furnished with a map of Treviso where will showed taverns and wine bars which are taking part in this wine festival in Treviso, with a mug, an apron and a shoulder bag. ombralonga images
 

The first edition of Ombralonga in Treviso was born in 1990 and this event took place on Saturday afternoon in the first years. Then this wine festival met with success more and more and thus this wine festival was moved to the third Sunday of October because Ombralonga in Treviso is attracting not only the citizens of towns near Treviso, but also many tourists coming here from every part of Europe.
 
Ombralonga will be not the one event in Treviso, other events will take place as “Ombrajazz” and “Fuoriombra” in that week end.

EVENTS DURING OMBRALONGA IN TREVISO 2007
  Friday October 19th, 2007
  - from 5:00: p.m. there will be a stand with Austrian specialities in Piazza Borsa;
  - from 7:00 p.m. "Time to lose" at Loggia dei Cavalieri
- from 7:30 p.m. You will be able to taste sturgeon of river Sile in Piazzetta Aldo Moro; there will be a cabaret show with Circolo degli artisti;
- at 8:30 p.m. care of Loggia dei Cavalieri: Armonie in Loggia, aperitif and music with Manomanouche "Quartet".
  - at 9:30 p.m.: care of Ristorante la Colonna: Ombrajazz, Concert.
 
Saturday October 20th, 2007
- from 5:00 p.m.: There will be a stand with Austrian specialities in Piazza Borsa;
- OLD CENTRE: OMBRENELLANOTTE (sleepless night): open shops in Treviso in the night.
- from 7:00 p.m.: in Corso del Popolo: music concert: Suoni di Marca in Blues; in Piazza Pola: the Alpine troops stand and concert of citizens' band from Pederobba; at Loggia dei Cavalieri "Time to lose.
- at 7:30 p.m. at Fish market (Pescheria): restaurant by candlelight; concert: Ombrajazz.
- at 9:00 p.m. in Piazza San Francesco: Restaurant (Celeste); concert: Ombrajazz.
- at 9:30 p.m. in Piazza dei Signori: music with radio Company.
- at 9:30 p.m. at Loggia dei Cavalieri: Armonie in Loggia: dinner and tasting with a concert.
 
 
Sunday October 21th, 2007
- from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in old centre: Ombralonga;
- at 12:00 p.m.: Piazza Borsa and Piazza dei Signori: historical procession and memories of tits fountain.
- from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Piazza dei Signori: music with Radio Company's deejays.
